In this limited worship space Schwidder exercises an economy of art – rich without being overwhelming – highlighted by a reredos triptych whose hinged panels allow for seasonal variations including the Prophet Isaiah with calligraphed words from Isaiah 9:6/center panel Madonna&Child, right panel calligraphed excerpt from Revelation 1:4-5; and additional variations including carvings of Christ-in-blessing, suffering Christ with darkened sun, and evangelist John holding a book. The processional cross, metal barrel baptismal font, and two floor-standing altar candle holders
are rich in their simplicity.
