  1. Interestingly enough, just today I took Ernst’s original drawing/watercolor of Christ the King’s proposed chancel, including the eponymous sculpture to a professional frame shop. We are celebration out 60th anniversary as a congregation this month and it’s time to protect this artwork which has hung in the sacristy hallway just as he matted and framed it, without glass, in a frame he must have built himself. He probably gifted it to the congregation along with a small typewritten explanation of the sculpture, which he also framed. Unfortunately, neither are signed. We are having the frame repaired and new mat cut. We are also having his explanation framed similarly. Please stop by to see them after April 17. We have some good photos of our sculpture if you would like them. I haven’t seen any in your collection, or perhaps I don’t know how to navigate it well. Also, please see the article in our web site that describes the artwork and artist – admittedly relying on some of your published information for some of the detail. http://www.christtheking-bellevue.org. Thanks, as always!
